SoHyang is going to perform 'How Far I Will Go' At the premiere of New Disney Film 'Moana' which will be held in COEX in Seoul on 12th.
Can't wait!!!

The OST album will be released on the same day, too
and there are 5 tracks recorded by her in Korean language including How Far I Will Go and the reprise version of the song
and other songs recorded with other singers.

Her fans already know that SoHyang is a big fan of Disney Movies.
She used to exercise her English repeating after Disney Movie 'The Little Mermaid' when she was young.
She said she watched the film like 100 times.

She performed 'Part Of That World', the sound track of the film, several times including short accapella during interviews.
When she performed at I Am A Singer after she became one of the 7 top challengers,
she chose 'Beauty And The Beast' the soundtrack of the same titled Disney Film.
She also performed 'A Whole New World' of 'Aladdin' and 'Let If Go' of 'Frozen'.
Her pure voice really fits to Disney films.

Now she became Moana of new disney musical film.
She recorded the korean version of the sound track 'How Far I'll Go'.

The film will be released 19th Jan in Korea.

She wrote this song with her husband Zion and Hwang Sung Je arranged the song.

Queen SoHyang performed at Open Concet today.
The theme of this episode was preventing children abuse. 
She did the opening of the show and she sang 'The Greatest Love Of All' which was originally sung by George Benson
and famous for Whitney Houston's cover. What a great choice for the theme.

She sang the song with children and her resonance was great.
Then she sang 'Fate' in a long time. She performed this song with one musician who played korean traditional string instrument.
It will broadcast on 20th.

SoHyang talked about her new single to be released at CTS talk show '내가 매일 기쁘게' yesterday.

She revealed the title '집으로 가는 길(Way Home)'.
And it's soul ballad song and she composed the melody in New York then came back to Korea and wrote the lyrics.

She likes to take buses and metros and watches people when she's heading somewhere.
And she saw many people are so tired in the crowd bus and some people fall asleep in the bus.
She was so sad to see them and thought they should do this everyday for work.

She thought people need comforts on the way home.
And she also saw everybody's wearing earphones and listening to music so she made this song to comfort people.


So the lyrics is like this
'내가 가진 것 하나, 이 노래가 널 안아줄 수 있다면, 내가 노래해줄께.'
(this is one I have, if this song can hug you, I will sing for you)

I heard that she already filmed a music video in New York.

The guitar girl, Jinjoo is SoHyang's sister-in-law and she grew up playing guitar with her sibling band POS.
Then she moved to America and she played the guitar for Jordin Sparks, Cee Lo Green, Ciara etc...
And she became a member of American Band DNCE.
The band became popular over the world With their cool music
And Jinjoo is inspiring a lot of girls who play guitar.

The band DNCE won the best new artist at MTV VMA 2016.

And on 25th, there will be released a new song that SoHyang featured.
It's called 'Paradise' and she worked with Rappers again.
She worked with YDG who worked together for a couple of tracks 'Hero', '어떻게 내게(How Dare You)'.
Last year, they shared a short clip that she was singing in the studio 'You'll be with me in Paradise'.
I think it's one of the 7 words of Jesus on the Cross.
So I think it's kinda CCM and he described the song as 'Retro', 'Summer Jam', 'Vacation Song', 'Club Music'.

By the way, Here Korea is really really hot and humid and it makes you exhausted.
