Today, New amazing performance by Elf SoHyang will be on air.
The new version of You Raise Me Up will surprise you.
Although her health condition wasn't good, she sang in grace of God.
She used to say that God is singing in her, but this time she really felt God was really helping her within her.
She was told not to talk by her doctor and she cried a few times while she was preparing.
They rearranged the song like eight times until she was satisfied.
It was not easy.
but if you didn't know this behind story, you wouldn't recognize that she was having some health problems because she sounded really amazing.

Two super divas, SoHyang and Sumi Jo performed at Opening Ceremony of Pyung Chang Paralypimcs last night.

They performed their new duet song 'Here As One'.

It was the highlight of the show. As soon as they finished the performance, SoHyang became #1 Issue keyword of Korean major sites.

Their costumes were inspired by Pyung Chang mascots.

Many Korean people weren't happy about singers of Pyung Chang Olympics and now they are satisfied.

Many people are saying they should have appeared at Olympics not Paralympic because Olympics is bigger event.

But SoHyang and Sumi Jo are thinking Paralympics is more meaningful to attend.

Last year, she also performed at FINA 2017 in Budapest. 
Surely she deserves the national shows :-)

SoHyang was invited to Buil Film Awards 2017.
She's not a movie star, but she was invited to perform to celebrate the festival.
Buil Film Awards is the oldest film awards in South Korea.

She performed 'Lean On Me' at the awards.
The film festival was held in Busan(the end of southeast), and now she's back to Incheon(the end of northwest), to perform at Munhak Mountain Concert.
It's for OBS, so maybe it will broadcast.
And she's having a Church concert on this Sunday in a long time.. and more shows to do.

TV drama 최강배달꾼(The Strongest Deliveryman) to release its new soundtrack which recorded by SoHyang.
It will be released tomorrow noon.

It's acoustic music with beautiful lyrics.

The drama's hero is Ko Kyung-Pyo is well known for his former TV drama 'Answer 1988', which is one of her favorite TV dramas.

Her new music will be released in September as well.
Not sure about the date yet.

And tomorrow is her concert with YB band and Kim Bumsoo.
YB said 'She is truly singer' after SoHyang's American anthem performance at NBA.
SoHyang once had a concert with Kim Bumsoo after I Am A Singer.

And SoHyang is going to perform at Open Concert soon again.

Queen SoHyang to perform at FINA World Championships closing ceremony in Budapest, Hungary. 

She is the first korean singer to perform at FINA Chamiponships.

She will perform 'Arirang Alone' with 200 people of choir and full orchestra.

This ceremony will broadcast live worldwide.

The closing ceremony starts at 21:30, 30th July in Papp László Sport Arena after the last race.(Local time)

Next FINA World Championships will be held in GwangJu, Korea. (Her hometown)

SoHyang is working with swedish composer Simon Petren.
He used to make songs for Korean idol stars like Shinee, Red Velvet and Seventeen.
SoHyang already recorded two songs.
It's known as up-tempo song, and she will film the video of the song in the States this month.

I heard it's very different from her former works.

Can't wait!!

SoHyang is recording new songs now.

She's coming to America for her concert soon but that's not all.
After the concert, she will film her new music video and take some photo shoots in New York.
So she will stay in the states longer.

I heard there are several songs they made, but I don't know what songs will come.

The new song is planned to be released in August.

She also said she's planning new collaborations with other artists.

and she's writing new novel as well.

About her mask.
People were curious why they made her mask like that because people expected more charismatic mask.
She said people think she's very charismatic and doesn't speak a lot.

but she's not like that.(She's very friendly with people)

The producers were surprised to meet her in person because her character was so bright.
At first they didn't know how to talk to her.

But she talked a lot, laughed a lot and she was hilarious.
So they wanted to break the prejudice of people.
So they made her theme 'friendly housewife'.

She chose 안아줘(Hug Me) as her favorite song of her performances at the show.
She said her health was bad and she wanted to a calm and emotional song like story telling, not caring about winning.
(People expected more stronger song, but she kept insisting this song and finally this song was chosen to perform.)
This song was the biggest issue among her songs at the show.
The song wasn't released officially, so some people blamed the original song writer, and original version got on the chart again instead.

The main producer talked about her

"SoHyang appeared for almost 4 and half months winning 6 times in a row, and we received healing from her stages.
We were happy to see her amazing and marvelous performances in person.
We felt she's so professional to see her doing her best on her stages.
she was very cautious about choosing a song so every stage was very different. Same high notes were all different.
I felt that high notes can be all different.

I wanna say thank you to SoHyang for showing us her amazing performances, unique performances and other things that she didn't show before at other shows."

Today, Mrs. Fun Rich became the king of MBC TV show, 'King of Masked Singers'.

She sang 2 different songs at the show today.
First one was 'Atlantis Girl' originally sung by Boa, and another one was 'Dear Love' sung by The One.
Her signature angelic voice made a big impact, of course her high notes were out of the world.
Finally she became the king of the show defeating the former king, Lee Hae-Ri from girl-duo, Davichi.

Lee Hae-Ri said 'I think she's not human' after she watched the performances of Mrs. Fun Rich.

Her next performance will be shown 2 weeks later.
(Kings of the show perform only one song in 2 weeks)

By the way, we still don't know who Mrs. Fun Rich really is.
