I don't totally agree with the saying 'people go as they were named', but I assent with it somewhat.
On the stage, SoHyang shines her light with only her voices.

Her twinkling sounds are mixed with impalpable air and go into the hearts of listeners. It shines as bright light in someone's heart and it's stuck and shines as a gem that they want to keep for long time. It's proven by the fact that she kept her king title for 6 consecutive times in <King of Masked Singers> that singers should sings with hidden faces. In fact, she had turned down the requests from the show.

"'Can I sing wearing the mask?' I had thought. I wondered if it would be possible to sing hiding my mouth.
It was honor, but I couldn't accept their proposal easily."
Then she fell into slump, and she took the stage as her first stage to get over the slump.

"My health got week so I was sick. and naturally I was't confident with my voice either. My voice was my property,
I felt like all my property was gone. I could sing like I used to do, but I faced my own limit that only I could feel."

She blindly purchased an airplane ticket to New York.
We wouldn't recognize it because we just get amazed by her voice no matter how short it is. but it was important enough for her to think about finishing her 20 years of singing history. Ever since she grabbed her mic when she was 19, Singing was almost everything of her.

"Since my childhood, I was good at singing and loved singing. But it wasn't good enough to think of singer as my future. It was just like when I was in school, my friends told my teacher to let me sing during talent show, and I came out to front and sing for them. I used to play singing songs, it was a little different with other friends."

"It was really fun. I sat down and listened to the same song everyday, but it sounded different everytime I did.
One day I sang along the melody, the other day I sang along the guitar line or base line. The other day I sang along the chorus. 
And I learned singing naturally. That why I chose 'I Have Nothing' by whitney Houston when I went to I Am A Singer as unnamed CCM singer.
It was a song that I could sing with confidence though I didn't have my own pop hit song. The albums of them are my teachers."

I want to live in harmony with everything in this world.

Until the CCM singer became the SoHyang of this time, the fun for her was singing. and she was scared because the fun could be shaken.

"I just went to home of acquaintance in New York. One day I had a trip to Philadelphia and found one sentence by President Roosevelt there.
'The only thing we have to fear is fear itself'.
I realized because of the sentence. if I avoided singing because I was afraid of future, I can regret much more in time. I gotta take my life as a singer and work it hard again.
when she came back to Korea after one month she received the request from King Of Masked Singers again, finally she could came out of the slump.
Of course, it wasn't easy to choose the songs and practice while she was king for 6 times. It was difficult and tough.
"But it was a really good choice. Because I could study about what communication with people is, what singing means to me and how to sing and deliver."
Weakening. Loosing. She found to strength the whole body wasn't the best. 
She couldn't explode like she used to do(*She got sick again while she was on the show), it rather made her come to closer to people comfortably. 
She could find what communication with people is and how various colors the singing can deliver are.

"My new single is coming out soon. I'm not saying belting is bad. There are people who love that dramatic style, and it touches people differently. but I'm happy that I can show different voice of SoHyang this time."

She has many dreams. First, to live with some fun. After she became a grown-up, everything she has done was fun things that thrilled her.

Singing as a CCM singer, Singing to public people. she wouldn't be able to do it all if it wasn't fun.
And she did unexpected thing, to write fantasy novel. Anaxion. she finished 10 books of the fantasy novel, Her ultimate goal is to make it as Hollywood film. And her another dream is to live in harmony. So she wishes her singing not to just stay alone in somewhere very high but wander around. Embracing heart-broken people like coat, becoming a wall that exhausted people can lean on. Becoming a start of small happiness for many people who endure a day. So it would be mixed in harmony. like air, like light, so everybody can enjoy it.
Just like her name 'So(Light) Hyang(Enjoy)'.

"My final dream is not different with you guys. To live in harmony with balanced heart. I want to live in harmony with everything in this world."
