Korean top vocalist, writer and musical actress, Sohyang will perform "Let it go" this saturday.
KBS will broadcast 'Green children's song contest show' for children's day, 5th May.
And SoHyang is the special guest for the show. and the show is sponsored by Samsung and YMCA.

They invited SoHyang cause she was voted by children. She is the singer that children want to see the most!
So she will come back to Korea before this show.
Now she is staying New York for new album work.
19th is the contest, and SoHyang will come to Korea late night on 18th.
And she will have to prepare the show from early morning next day.
So she needs a lot of prayer.

'Let it go' is Disney movie 'Frozen' O.S.T
And many korean people wanted SoHyang to cover this song.
And now their wish comes true!

She has sung some Disney songs like 'Part of that world', 'Beauty and the beast' and 'Whole new world'.

They will broadcast this show on 5th May, the children's day.

New Single of SoHyang and G.Brown!!
Disney style pop-ballad song, 'Falling in Love' is G.Brown's debut single and SoHyang sang this song together.
G.Brown was back-up singer and vocal director, and this is his debut single as an solo artist.
SoHyang is co-writer of this beautiful ballad music and this song's lyrics was inspired by Kaylin of Crystal Castle, the fantasy novel which was written by SoHyang.

By the way, SoHyang recorded new material for 20th anniversary album of korean pop producer, Young-Hoon Joo and he said SoHyang is the best female singer for sure.
He will release those songs one by one a month. It's not known when SoHyang track will be revealed yet.
He made a lot of big hit songs in 90's and these new songs seem like remade & rerecorded songs of those hits.

Singers changed?
Super Diva, Sohyang is about to sing at Luna Park Concert with The One very soon.

But it seems they changed the singers.

Original lineup was SoHyang, The One and JK Kim dong-wook.
But changed to SoHyang, The One and 4Men.

And now they show this new image.

SoHyang, The One, Lee Young-Hyun and Monsterz.
Maybe 4Men was cancelled.

Lee Young-Hyun and Monsterz were with SoHyang and The One at one korean church in Argentina where SoHyang and The One performed yesterday.

Maybe it was because they were invited as new lineup of the concert.

SoHyang is a CCM singer, known as korean Mariah Carey or korean Celin Dion.
She can reach A6 officially and she is very famous with unbelievable vocal.
She became Top 3 of the competition TV show Program of korean legendary singers, I Am A Singer2.

Now she is a novel writer of her own fantasy novel 'Crystal Castle' and She became a musical actress of Sound Of Music Musical.

The One is a korean ballad singer, who became the winner of the show, I Am A Singer2.
He is very popular among woman fans especially because of her emotional vocal.
He was a vocal coach of korean idol singers like Girl's Generation and Super Junior before he became famous.

Lee Young-Hyun is a korean diva, who was originally a lead singer of korean diva group, Big Mama.
She also appeared at I Am A Singer1 and 2. She didn't win at monthly challenge, but she kept surviving so she did 'Honor Graduation' though she couldn't be Top 7 that ran Super December rounds. 

Monsterz...Actually I don't know about them much yet but I think they are getting popular in Korea.
They are from the same company with The One. They just made a debut in 2012.
They were challengers of korean competition TV show, Dancing 9.

The Korean Mariah Carey, Sohyang and I Am A Singer2 winner singer, The One sang at one korean church in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I don't know the details, I just saw several photos of her on stage and backstage.
SoHyang and The One preached and sang in the church.

Korean singers, Lee Yeong-hyun(Who appeared at I Am A Singer and also parted 'Mermaid' Diva Project), and The Monsters were in this Church together. but it seems they didn't perform.

SoHyang will have a concert at Luna Park with The One, 4Men on 10th March!

Extremely talented Korean gospel diva, writer, actress, Sohyang finally finished her long-time musical tour of Sound Of Music which was sustained for several months in 4 cities Daegu, Busan, Seoul and Chuncheon.
And it's all over now!

Sohyang described herself 'very similar' with Maria, her musical role and she really did amazing job!
Her voice was perfect and her motions and act were lovely.

Sohyang also knew people want super high note from her, so musical team changed her version of Do-Re-Mi song a little to show her super high note which was so amazing.

During the tour, I and a few people had a nice chance to meet her personally at waiting room.
We had a nice time for 15~20 minutes. She gave her autographs on her books, phone or photos whatever we wanted. And we could take some photos with her together.
She was so kind and humble...of course beautiful :-)

Soon, she will go to New-York again for her upcoming album.
whether Her solo album or Pos album... not known yet.

She also released her second book 'Ghosts of Kardon' of Crystal Castle series, her own fantasy novel based on 'John's Revelation'.
I love this book so much and I wish this book will be translated into English someday.

Sohyang is playing her musical-debut role 'Maria' of Sound Of Music in Seoul.

I went to her show last night, and it was really wonderful!

She said when she was reading her script on her first day of practice, she made director and others embarrassed, because she couldn't act. She didn't want to make them trouble, so she suggested finding other actress. but anyway, she tried so hard, and she is really great now!

Her motions and voice were really beautiful and her act was very natural and lovely.

I know those songs from this musical don't require very high note or belting. but she still sounded amazing without them. and people really loved how she sang on the stage. her voice, itself, is very beautiful and powerful.

After the show, I met her at backstage and I'm so happy she remembers me :-)
She gave me her autograph.

She will keep doing this show until February then she will go to U.S.A for new album work.
And she will perform at KBS Open Concert next week.

Sohyang, known as korean super diva, writer and musical actress, recently has had a lot of interviews about her musical debut and her new book 'Crystal Castle'. Today I read one more interview of her.

She had had a lot of offers from various musical show since she appeared of 'I Am A Singer2', big competition show among Korean legendary singers, but she had rejected all because she didn't like the role. but she had always wanted to play 'Maria' role of Sound Of Music.
She said she watched the original movie like one hundred time, and her real personality is very similar with Maria from the movie. So, when she received the love call from Sound of Music, she said yes!

But she hadn't played musical show before, so she had to practice so hard for 3 months.
During her practice, she wanted to quit, cause it was so difficult and she wasn't sure if she would make it.
But when she played the show on the stage for the first time, she recalls it was really fun and she also said she will never forget the first day of the show.

Now she finished Daegu and Busan tour and she will continue this tour in Seoul in several days.
As soon as she finish this musical tour, she will go to New York to work on her new album.
It seems like more for mainstream music, not just CCM.
She also said she can't be sure cause she doesn't know when this album work will be finished, but she wants to try another musical show if the role is bright and gives hope to people. if she has a chance, she wants to play the role of 'Mary' of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Sohyang appeared on korean big TV show, Star!King.

She used to sing some songs at this show before. Star!king people love Sohyang so much so they invite her sometimes. At her first appearance she sang 3 song including Mariah Carey's Emotions and later she also performed 'When you believe' with Charice Pempengco.

Today, Sohyang appeared and sang two songs 'O Holy Night' and 'Goose's dream(거위의 꿈)'.

Today, Les Petits Chanteurs A La Croix de Bois appered on the show,

and She sang 'O holy night" in front of them. When she finished the song, they started clapping for her.
And one boy of choir said she has a very beautiful voice.
And Hodong Kang, the show host and other guests were very surprised by her beautiful voice, too.

Then she sang "Goose's dream" with Les Petits Chanteurs A La Croix de Bois.

She was so beautiful and her voice was fantastic!
She is doing her first musical "Sound Of Music",
so I thought she must be very tired, but her voice was amazing!!

By the way, her musical Daegu tour will be finished tomorrow, then she will do it in Busan, soon!
