After Sohyang appeared at I Am A Singer, she released pop music, not gospel.
The song is 햇살이 입맞춤 하던 날(Hat-Sal-E Ib-Ma-Choom Ha-Deon Nal) which means The Day When Sunshine Kissed Me.
Actually the direct object of 'Kiss' was ommited in Korean.
This song was title song of her 15th Anniversary album and it was composed and written by Pos themselves.
I think She and her husband Zion made the song. and Hwang Sung-Je arranged this song.

This song is about first love. it's pop music but I can say it's CCM, too.
Cause the song is about when she met Jesus for the first time when she was a teenager.
She said everything looked so shining then.

The Heavenly Diva performed at KBS hall for Open Concert today.
This concert was set suddenly.
Korea has a lot of dispersed families because of Korean War.
Years ago, KBS made TV programs for them to find their lost family members.
Thru this TV show, they find their long time lost people and those materials of the show became UNESCO world heritage.
Celebrating this, they made this episode of Open Concert and Of course SoHyang appeared at this special show.

SoHyang showed up in black long dress and she sang 잊지말아요(Please Don't Forget), sound track of TV drama Iris2, and her famous song 꿈(Dream).

She recorded 잊지말아요 years ago, but never performed this song before, and it was her first time to sing this song in public. At last part of the song, she eventually was about to cry, and she was embarrassed.
They played the video of dispersed families before her turn, and it finally made her cry.
Because the song is like ' 우리 서로 사랑했는데, 우리 이제 헤어지네요(We loved each other, but we are separated now..)
but she sang this song very beautifully and wonderfully.

Then she sang Dream. You know she rocks!!!!
Her voice itself is so much big and everybody has to focus on it.
Her last note of super headvoice is piercing everything!!

It seems to be broadcast on this upcoming sunday.

On 11th, there was Sumi Jo's concert for celebrating her new pop album release and She invited SoHyang to sing together the song 'In the Flower Garden', the title song of her album.

Sumi Jo introduced SoHyang saying she has great vocal volume and technique.
SoHyang came out in cobalt blue long dress with her bright vibe as always.
They sang the song together beautifully.

They raised hands together and people gave them big applause.
Sumi Jo said 'I saw her practicing before the concert.. you guys take a look' then disappeared.
And SoHyang alone sang 'Fate' perfectly.
Two perfect divas made a wonderful concert.

SoHyang is coming to New Jersey now.

The Super Divas just released a duet song 'In The Flower Garden'!
The heavenly diva SoHyang already covered this song as Popera version for I Am A Singer and the super opera diva Sumi Jo was impressed by her performance and she wanted to sing this song with SoHyang together.
So they made this beautiful duet song. SoHyang has performed this song so many times since I Am A Singer, but it's her first studio version, too.

This song is the title song of Sumi Jo's new album and it's first time for her to decide a duet song as title song. Sumi Jo seems to like SoHyang so much :-)

The heavenly Diva SoHyang performed at KBS1 Concert 7080 yesterday.
She sang three songs, 꽃밭에서(In The Flower Garden), 햇살이 입맞춤 하던 날(The Day When Sunshine Kissed Me) and I Have Nothing.
In spite of her a lot of schedules, she sounded amazing.
Especially she sang I Have Nothing so greatly. She sang a little differently with ad-lib.

Korean Top Divas meet again!

Sumi Jo is Korean best opera soprano and she is really popular over the world.
But she enjoys not only opera & classic music but also a lot of pop music, too.

It seems she likes SoHyang so much.
After SoHyang appeared at I Am A Singer2, Sumi Jo invited her to her concert as a guest singer.
And they did a duet.
And they met up in New York when SoHyang gave her fantasy novel book 'Crystal Castle' to Sumi Jo.
And they recorded one song this spring.
Now Sumi Jo invites SoHyang for her concert again.

Sumi Jo will have a concert in Seoul On 11th Sep
and SoHyang is a guest singer.

They recorded one track together
So they may sing that song together for the show.

SoHyang is a big fan of TV drama producer ByungHoon Lee(이병훈) who is well known for Korean historical dramas.

"Among my latest works... This was the most satisfying and the most difficult song, too.
I really felt solitude while I was working on this song.
It should be plaintive and at the same time, it should explain unconcerned pain..
I think I didn't have many choices of female singers who could do that.
In a sense, Ms.SoHyang is more R&B and Gospel, and asking her for this major and traditional sound?
After she just grasped [the point of] this song, finally she just recorded the song only three times and went home.
And it got 'OK'[which means the recording is already perfect so they don't need to do anymore]...
it means I think she is more than I thought."

The Heavenly Diva SoHyang won another episode of KBS The Immortal Songs.
It's her only third appearance and she already won twice of them!
At her first appearance, she sang 'Lean On Me' in front of Michael Bolton
and she made him do standing ovation for her.
Bolton praised her saying she is a 'Virtuoso' and he asked her a duet and they did at his concerts.

Whenever she sings, people get crazy about her perfect performance and she did it again.
The Episode was about the English pop songs that korean people love.
And she chose 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' by Simon & Garfunkel.
She was so busy before this appearance, she had a lot of schedules in a row before the show.
she didn't have time enough to practice but she made it again.

She was 4th singer of 7 singers of the show.
Since she chose this old pop song, there were many people who didn't know this song.
(Other singers chose Let it Go of Disney Frozen OST, My Heart Will Go On by Celin Dion, Heal The World by Michael Jackson..

She didn't belt those her B5~C6 like her other songs, but still sounded strong and amazing and of course emotional.
This song has very gospel sound and you know she is a CCM singer, so it was perfect for her.

Although many people got up from their seats for her after her performance, the score was just 416.
Weirdly the audiences were calmer than other days and they didn't put the button for singers.
so the score was lower than anybody expected.
but she kept defeating other singers and became the final winner of the show.
In fact, she was only one who got over 400 score of the show.


By the way her birthday was 5th April, so this day, her fans brought big flowers, cake, letters, meals and snacks for her, her family, her team and other staffs of the show. they also would buy an expensive gift for her but she asked them to donate the money for Haiti.
So her fans donated money like $2,000 to Haiti.
