I had written that SoHyang would perform at one TV show.
It was yesterday.
She performed at Immortal Songs in a long time.

It was English boy band 'Westlife' special and Shane Filan came to the show.
Because You Raise Me Up is a special song for SoHyang, she chose this song.
You may think it would be boring because she had performed this song like hundreds times.

But you'll be surprised because it's not like You Raise Me Up you have heard before.

The song starts with her spiritual humming and voice singing 'I believe'.
It already made people get chills.
It songs changes a few times like her former big songs like Arirang Alone or Everyone.
Spiritual Style, Black Gospel Style and Celtic style were mixed very well.
I think you you've never heard something like this before.

So many people gave her standing ovations and even after she got out of the stage,

People still were noisy with shocks, and some people kept slapping hands again.
I know many people were crying.

She did a really good job.
No matter what her score was, it will be loved by many people for long time.

She had a duet concert in a far city on Saturday,

Rehearsal on Sunday
And Show recording on Monday.
She must be very exhausted.

Actually she was told not to speak by her doctor, because of her health issue.

But she still did it amazingly.
Please keep praying for her health recovery.

The show will air on 12th, May.
I'm sure so many people will be touched and comforted!

During the interview with Mr.Emre, she said her highest note is around high Eb.
Because of 'High', people think it means Eb6 but As you know on, her highest note revealed was A6 so far, so her highest note can't be Eb6.
She meant Eb7.
Because of those confusing terms she said, 'I don't know', 'Doesn't matter, I just want to sing'.

If you're a fan of vocal analysis, you would be friendly with those vocal terms like 'High' or octave numbers.
But if you're not into it, it can be confusing sometimes. Especially when we have our own terms in Korea.

You usually count the octaves from Piano. But in Korea, we count from human modal voice (male) which is 3rd octave.
We often say it's Middle C but, Even middle C is confusing people sometimes, because it's C4 technically but, it's referred as C3 in many cases.
No matter what they call whatever, she meant 'D7 or Eb7'.

That's why they said '5th octave' during the interview. Eb7 is 5-octaves higher octave from C3.

But she said she hasn't measured her vocal range so she doesn't know exactly.

While they were talking about her highest note, they just laughed out because someone said 'Infinity!'.

A few days ago, she had an interview with Turkish singer & vocal coach, Mr. Emre.
He came to Korea to meet her because he wanted to understand her voice better for her voice is really amazing.

He will upload the interview video at his youtube channel later.
Since he's a musician as well, I think the interview was more about music and her voice than other interviews that she had had before.

Now she's staying in Japan for her concerts right now.
After she came back to Korea, she will have two duo concerts in Korea.

AFTER THOSE CONCERTS!! She will appear at one TV show, where she will show you an amazing performance.
In a couple of weeks, you'll see what it is!

Two super divas, SoHyang and Sumi Jo performed at Opening Ceremony of Pyung Chang Paralypimcs last night.

They performed their new duet song 'Here As One'.

It was the highlight of the show. As soon as they finished the performance, SoHyang became #1 Issue keyword of Korean major sites.

Their costumes were inspired by Pyung Chang mascots.

Many Korean people weren't happy about singers of Pyung Chang Olympics and now they are satisfied.

Many people are saying they should have appeared at Olympics not Paralympic because Olympics is bigger event.

But SoHyang and Sumi Jo are thinking Paralympics is more meaningful to attend.

Last year, she also performed at FINA 2017 in Budapest. 
Surely she deserves the national shows :-)

SoHyang will visit Vietnam very soon.
She has received lovecalls from Vietnam for long time and finally she's coming to Vietnam.
I don't know the details yet.
But I heard she will visit Danang and the show will be 11th or 12th. March.
I think one company invited her.

And she will have her solo concerts in Japan in early April.
Two shows were set. I think one is in Tokyo and another one is other city.

If I hear something more, I'll write again.

And there will be another performance in Korea.

Our Queen SoHyang won a special award at MBC Entertainment Awards 2017.
She performed 'Atlantis Girl' and it sounded amazing in person.
I know there were some sound issues of the live air, but it really sounded amazing and people were really enjoying it.
The Awards sound systems are not for musical performance and I could hear that,

but SoHyang always overcomes bad situations with just her voice.

Many celebrities loved her performance and one musician asked for her featuring. lol!

I had received a lot of letters from Germany, France, Indonesia etc...
Today I delivered all the letters well just like you can see from the photo.

Now she's gonna perform at KBS Drama Awards as the singer of big hit TV drama 'Go Back couple' on 31st.
It's very rare for a female singer to perform at two different Awards in Korea.
