The Heavenly Diva SoHyang performed at Immortal Songs.
It was an episode with best records of the show. She was the winner of the biggest episode of the show that won global awards with special guest Michael Bolton.
She chose the song '여러분(It's you folks)' originally sung by 윤복희(Yoon Bok-Hee).
여러분 is honorific and plural form of 'you'. so it can't be translated to English naturally.

Anyway it's a huge pop song of Korea but in fact it's a gospel song.
and this song has been covered by so many singers including Yim Jae-Bum and Ailee.
And I'm pretty sure SoHyang's version is the biggest scale cover of the song.

She came out with black lace dress and she was so beautiful as always.
She had so much pain around her neck and shoulder and she even couldn't raise her arms well before performance.
But she showed the biggest impact during the show.

After her performance, so many people gave her standing ovations and the anchor said it was the biggest standing ovations ever.
Some people even shouted 'encore' to her.

But sadly, it seemed there were so many fans of other singer and they didn't vote for other singers but their fav singer.
It became a controversy because it was so unfair.
Many people got noisy by results and some people went home.

Anyway the performance itself was amazing and I'm so sure so many people will make so many reaction videos of this performance soon.

The Heavenly Diva SoHyang decided to appear at another Immoral Songs.
It's Guinness special and top score singers of the show will come for this episode.
Recording date is 7th Dec.
SoHyang, Kim Jong-Seo, Hong Kyung-min, Jeong Dong-ha, Ali, Son Seun-yeon, Heo-gak will come.

Sohyang will also perform at KBS hall on 29th Nov with Kai, a popera singer who also appeared at I Am A Singer and recorded 'I Believe' with SoHyang before.

And SoHyang also appeared at Hidden Singer for Lim Jae-Bum and it will broadcast this saturday.

The Heavenly Diva SoHyang won another episode of KBS The Immortal Songs.
It's her only third appearance and she already won twice of them!
At her first appearance, she sang 'Lean On Me' in front of Michael Bolton
and she made him do standing ovation for her.
Bolton praised her saying she is a 'Virtuoso' and he asked her a duet and they did at his concerts.

Whenever she sings, people get crazy about her perfect performance and she did it again.
The Episode was about the English pop songs that korean people love.
And she chose 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' by Simon & Garfunkel.
She was so busy before this appearance, she had a lot of schedules in a row before the show.
she didn't have time enough to practice but she made it again.

She was 4th singer of 7 singers of the show.
Since she chose this old pop song, there were many people who didn't know this song.
(Other singers chose Let it Go of Disney Frozen OST, My Heart Will Go On by Celin Dion, Heal The World by Michael Jackson..

She didn't belt those her B5~C6 like her other songs, but still sounded strong and amazing and of course emotional.
This song has very gospel sound and you know she is a CCM singer, so it was perfect for her.

Although many people got up from their seats for her after her performance, the score was just 416.
Weirdly the audiences were calmer than other days and they didn't put the button for singers.
so the score was lower than anybody expected.
but she kept defeating other singers and became the final winner of the show.
In fact, she was only one who got over 400 score of the show.


By the way her birthday was 5th April, so this day, her fans brought big flowers, cake, letters, meals and snacks for her, her family, her team and other staffs of the show. they also would buy an expensive gift for her but she asked them to donate the money for Haiti.
So her fans donated money like $2,000 to Haiti.

The heavenly diva SoHyang appeared at Immortal Songs again.
The theme of the episode is Korean Folk Song and she sang '홀로 아리랑'(Arirang Alone)

She already won the episode of Michael Bolton singing 'Lean On Me' that Bolton praised SoHyang is virtuoso.
It was so western music, and Arirang is so oriental and korean music...
KBS kept asking for her one more appearance so SoHyang appeared again.
Since it was so oriental sound, her company didn't decide easily
but SoHyang decided to to because this song is about Dokdo Island no matter how she win or not.
(*Dokdo is the most eastern small island that belongs to Korea and Japan is still saying it belongs to japan and for korean people, it seems that Japan still want to invade to and steal Korean property...It's a kinda symbol of independent Korea... in this song, Dokdo is also related of Unity of South Korea and North Korea)

Sadly she was chosen first singer to perform.
Since it was Folk Song episode, there were no immortal singer like Michael Bolton to be introduced before the show. so they just had to start the show and people were NOT warmed up yet.

SoHyang just had to show up... but she made the perfect performance.
And she got 411. it's really really high score for first performer(even without warming up).
but she didn't become the final winner.

Anyway she made a huge impression.

Jo Kwan-Woo appeared with his father, Jo TongDal-human cultural assets of Korea and his son, a pianist.
He was also I Am A Singer performer, so he knew SoHyang is kinda super singer.
So he said 'SoHyang is difficult (to defeat).'

His father, Jo TongDal said SoHyang has a wonderful voice so he wants to scout her, if she did Korean traditional music only, She would be the world best. 

Song SoHee(who became the final winner of the episode) said that she did the same song before, and SoHyang did like 10 times...100 times.. so much better than her.

Yang DongGeun who is very close with SoHyang and has worked with her on a couple of songs said if a sick person hears her voice, he would get up right away.

Sunwoo, a popera singer, hit E6 during her performance, and MCs asked about that note to SoHyang because everybody knows SoHyang can hit really really high notes... but SoHyang said 'I don't think I can do that..' but she was like 'Was it this note?' and she just hit that note easily.. with her super head voice with big resonance.
MCs were like 'You were like I can do that, too!'. So hilarious..LOL

SoHyang will have a joint concert with opera singers on 24th.
She's not an opera singer, but she is a main singer with baritone Kim DongKyu.

Heavenly Diva, SoHyang, aka korean Mariah Carey, performed at 'Immortal Songs' show for the fist time,
and legendary singer, Michael Bolton gave her a standing ovation!!!!!

They tried to invite her to the show for very long time, but she hadn't appeared, but she finally appeared and surely showed who she is!

'Immortal songs' is a big competition TV program like 'I Am A Singer'.
They decide a legendary singer of the week and each singer has to choose and perform one song from the legendary singer.

The legendary singer of the episode is Michael Bolton, and he really appeared at the show!!
He showed himself as the legendary singer and watched those singers singing his songs.

7 singers performed songs of Michael Bolton in front of him.
Moon Myung-Jin, Hyorin(of Sista), Seo Jian, Ailee, Lena Park, Jay Park(Jaebeom Park) and SoHyang were the singers.

SoHyang chose 'Lean On Me' and it was totally amazing and awesome.

I was totally shocked!!
I have seen her singing in person so many times, but It was the bestest.

It was like a big party in the heaven. At beginning, her voice was holy and beautiful then the music started to go faster and it was so joyful. Her voice was very powerful.

People were amazed by her, and so many people gave her standing ovations and people kept shouting to her for long time after her performance.

She seemed so happy to sing this song in front of him.

After SoHyang sang, Michael Bolton gave her a standing ovation and said SoHyang is spectacular and her level is different level.

During the show, Lena Park(Who is often said as rival of SoHyang by some people) was #1 before SoHyang performed.

Since SoHyang was the last singer and the final result isn't revealed before broadcast, I couldn't see if SoHyang won or Lena Park won there.

(they let every people go out, then record the final result part)

But people said SoHyang would be the winner. It seemed so sure.
Her performance itself was very amazing and people were crazy about her after her show.

Almost right after the show, one insider of the show hinted that SoHyang eventually became the winner of the show via SNS and people seem to agree.

No matter what the insider said, I also was so sure SoHyang would win, because her level was totally different just like Michael said.

It will broadcast on 18th.
